Πρώτη στις αναζητήσεις των Βρετανών για διακοπές το καλοκαίρι του 2017 ήταν η Ελλάδα στο thomascook.com τα Χριστούγεννα και την επομένη ημέρα- Boxing Day, όπως ανακοίνωσε ο Βρετανός τουρ οπερέιτορ.Οι αναζητήσεις για Ελλάδα αντιπροσώπευαν το 17% του συνόλου των αναζητήσεων στο thomascook.com. Οι ισπανικοί προορισμοί, Κανάρια Νησιά, Βαλεαρίδες Νήσοι και η ηπειρωτική Ισπανία, συνολικά αντιπροσώπευαν το ένα τρίτο όλων των αναζητήσεων (36%) γι αυτές τις δυο ημέρες (25 και 26 Δεκεμβρίου).
Η Τουρκία ήταν στην πέμπτη θέση και οι ΗΠΑ στην έκτη. Όπως εχει ανακοινώσει τον Οκτώβριο ο Thomas Cook, οι περισσότεροι Βρετανοί τουρίστες θα επιλέξουν all-inclusive διακοπές το 2017, ιδίως σε προορισμούς όπως η Ελλάδα και τα Κανάρια Νησιά, που δεν έχουν παραδοσιακά αναγνωριστεί για την all-inclusive προσφορά τους.
